The women's 4x400 relay team finished in 5th place, just one second behind the podium. Although Poland did not win as many medals as expected, the athletes showed a high level of performance and promise even greater achievements in the future.

Piotr Lisek caused the biggest sensation by winning the bronze medal in the pole vault with a successful attempt at 5.94 meters. In the 400-meter hurdles, Karolina Bosiek took 4th place, setting a new personal best.
