Do the bearings need to be lubricated?
The bearings do not need to be greased or oiled. If they start to feel too heavy while riding, they should be replaced.
How to replace bearings in inline skates?
To replace the bearings, start by removing the wheel (link). With the wheel removed, use a screwdriver to pry up and remove both bearings. When installing the bearings, make sure they are properly fitted to both the inner surface of the wheel and the mounting screw. You also need to make sure that dirt does not restrict assembly. In this case, clean the parts.
What quality are the bearings in the inline skates?
The Comfort 700 skates have ABEC7 bearings
The Urban 300 skates have ABEC5 bearings
How to replace wheels on inline skates?
To replace a specific wheel, unscrew and fully extend the mounting bolt. Before installing the new wheel, check that the bearings are in good condition. After installing the wheel, make sure the bolt is securely tightened and the wheel turns freely.
How do you replace a skate with a roller rail and vice versa?
To replace the skate with a roller rail in skates with the option of replacement, unscrew and slide out the front and rear mounting screws and remove the skate runner. Then, slide the roller rail into place so that the mounting screw holes in the rail and the boot line up, and then screw in the mounting screws. Two matching keys are included in the set.
Is it difficult to change the size of inline skates or ice skates?
Changing the size of Broyx skates and inline skates is easy and requires no tools. Simply press the lock button on the shoe and move the shoe part so that the arrow points to the right size.
