The medal standings were dominated by the continent's traditional powerhouses, including Italy and the Netherlands, supported by outstanding performances by sprinters and medley specialists. Lublin passed the test as the host of the event, combining excellent organization with full stands and an atmosphere worthy of one of the most important events in the European swimming calendar.

The Polish hosts won several medals in individual and relay events, warming up the Lublin audience from the very first day of the competition. Young competitors such as John Shortt, Martine Damborg, and Eneli Jefimova also stood out, confirming their status as the new stars of European swimming.

EUROPEAN SHORT COURSE CHAMPIONSHIPS

The European Short Course Swimming Championships Lublin 2025 ended this evening after six days of intense competition at Aqua Lublin. Fans witnessed a series of outstanding performances, including a world record in the 4x50 m mixed freestyle relay by the Italian team and a series of European records set by Marrit Steenbergen.
